Graduate Research Series: "Signification: Analogy in Pre-Modern Ontotheology"
Renaissances is thrilled to announce the upcoming iteration of its Graduate Research Series, “Signification: Analogy in Pre-Modern Ontotheology.”
Join us for dinner in the Humanities Center Baker Room on Monday, May 13, at 6:00 p.m. as we host Professor Timothy Harrison (English, University of Chicago) in conversation with Mattea Scheiber Koon (English, ý).
This event pairs Mattea’s dissertation chapter, “Signification: Analogy in Pre-Modern Ontotheology,” with Professor Harrison’s recent work on John Milton. Our speakers will introduce their research, discuss their (pre-circulated) draft materials, and share responses to one another’s texts. Renaissances coordinators will then moderate audience discussion and Q&A.
