Jesús Rodríguez-Velasco is an Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Medieval Romance Literature at the University of Salamanca. Among many other areas, his research interests include the history and theory of Romance Language and Literature. At Berkeley, he has chaired the Catalan & Occitan Studies Program and is currently a Member of the Executive Committee for the Program in Medieval Studies. His recent publications include Estudios de Historia, Colección Orellana (Salamanca 1996). Light refreshments will be served at the lecture.
