Assistant Professorship Position in German Studies Available
The Department of German Studies at °®åú´«Ã½ is seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in German Studies. The ideal candidate combines a significant research specialization with competence in all periods of German literature and culture in order to teach a broad range of courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as contribute to collaborative research and teaching initiatives within and beyond the Department. The area of specialization is open; candidates with a secondary interest and/or training in other disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Applicants will be expected to have the PhD in hand by the appointment start date of 9/1/2017 and to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Native or near-native fluency in German (and English) is expected. All application materials must be submitted online viaÌý.
