Lea Liese is a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar at the Department of German Studies in AY 2024-25. She is currently employed with University of Basel (Switzerland) as a Postdoctoral Assistant. Her research project centers identity politics in contemporary literature. Lea studied comparative literature and philosophy in Paris, Berlin, Lille, and Bochum. 2018-2019 Research residency at the University of Vienna. 2021 PhD with a thesis on small forms of political Romanticism.
