Vincent Barletta

Associate Professor of Iberian and Latin American Cultures and of Comparative Literature

is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Iberian and Latin American Cultures. He is a Research Associate at °®åú´«Ã½'s and associated faculty in the , the , and the . His research and teaching focus primarily on medieval and early modern Iberian literatures, especially texts associated with the Portuguese empire; Iberian Islam; classical reception; literature and linguistic anthropology; and literature and philosophy. Prof. Barletta has received a John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship (2021) and has served as Visiting Professor at La Sapienza University, Rome.
